Will the real Messiah please stand up?
Many of the 1 billion-strong members of Western religious faith can be placed in one of two categories, those who believe we are living, in what we may call the "Pre-Messianic" age, and those who subscribe to a "Post-Messianic" existence. Individuals among the latter are of the belief that Jesus was the divine personality designated to bring vicarious atonement and perfection to the world. Most of the Jewish world reject this notion and believe mankind has not yet arrived at that place in time
