IS IT POSSIBLE TO KEEP THE TORAH?

IS IT POSSIBLE TO KEEP THE TORAH?

IS IT POSSIBLE TO KEEP THE TORAH? Christianity insists that it is impossible for us to keep the commandments of the Torah. The Apostle Paul asserts that if it were possible for us to be righteous through keep the Torah  then Jesus died in vain. The viability of the Torah invalidates the need for Jesus to die to atone for our sins. This video will explore the missionary claim that it is impossible for us to keep the Torah and provide four approaches to demonstrate how the claim is indefensible.

CHapter 22U - Guilt-Offering

CHapter 22U - Guilt-Offering

Continued from Chapter 22t 53:10: “If he would offer himself as a guilt-offering” The suffering servant as a guilt-offering Following the initial declaration that it was God’s will for the servant to suffer, the verse is written as a conditional statement. If condition A is satisfied, then the outcome B will occur. That is, the rewards of verse 10 are contingent on the servant’s willingness to offer himself as an asham, “guilt-offering.” In a literal sense the verse says, “If his soul place

Question of the Week: Palm Reading and Horoscopes

Question of the Week: What is Judaism's take on looking into our future? I've always been under the impression that it is forbidden for us to consult with spiritual 'mediums', but more and more I'm hearing of people who are paying big money to find out what their future may hold. Is it possible to know our destiny? Answer: The Torah forbids looking into the future, not because it isn't possible to do, but because it isn't a good idea. There are indeed ways to divine the future. There are Jew

Perhaps, I thought, it really wasn't important that Jesus hadn't fulfilled the main prophecies of the Messiah if he had at least fulfilled some of the others.  I started to go through the prophecies outlined in Matthew, who, as a Jewish writer keenly interested in establishing Jesus as the Jewish Messiah, relied heavily on these prophecies.  But I didn’t get fa

Chapter 42 - WHO IS MELCHIZEDEK?

Chapter 42 - WHO IS MELCHIZEDEK?

Continued from Chapter 41b (Psalms 110:4) “A priest forever” Psalms 110:4 states, “You are a priest forever after the manner of Melchizedek.” God considers David as being in special service or servant capacity to Himself. This is expressed by the term “priest” being applied to David. However, he was not a priest in the manner of the priesthood of Aaron, but rather a priest of God, “after the manner of Melchizedek.” Genesis 14:18 describes Melchizedek as “king of Salem" and “priest of God Mo
