Psalms 22 and The Dead Sea Scrolls

by Yosef Feigenbaum

Missionaries site Psalms 22:16 as proof that Jesus would have his hands and feet pierced. Scholars have pointed out that the Hebrew word k’ari means “like a lion” and not “pierced.” In an attempt to  disprove this fact, missionaries claim that the Dead Sea Scrolls prove that the Hebrew says “pierced.” In this eye-opening video Yosef Feigenbaum demonstrates why their argument is incorrect based on the Nahal Hever Fragment in lieu of Qumran scribal practice.
