Did a Copper Snake Heal The Children of Israel?

In Parshat Chukat, The Children of Israel  were attacked by fiery serpents—and Hashem told Moshe to make a copper snake and place it on a pole. But it wasn’t the snake that healed them. It was their focus.

When they looked up—to God, not to the object—they lived.
