What is the meaning of Hosea 5:15?

I'm pretty good at answering Christians learned a lot. But I never encountered Hosea 5:15 and how to answer that. Can you please direct me to some material to answer this? Can't find it on your site or Rabbi Singer's site.

Thank you for writing. Please correct me, the Christian say that Hosea 5:15 is talking about Jesus being hidden and then returning.

I would say that this is a clear example of circular reasoning. They already have Jesus in their minds and the are reading this passage with Jesus lenses.

If you take at the passage, you can see that it is clearly talking about God removing his presence from the earth and when the Jewish people return to God, God will return to them.
