FACT CHECKING THE SEPTUAGINT: The Bible in Greek and the Virgin Birth with Rabbi MIchael Skobac Christian apologists frequently face blatant discrepancies between the New Testament text and the Jewish scriptures. Their most common means of addressing this problem is to claim that the writers of the Christian scriptures were basing themselves upon the Septuagint, the Greek translation of the Hebrew Bible.
